Thanks - unfortunately the surgeon thinks the wires are damaged which will mean another op - but we have to test them first. He's turned my stim on all the time though which means I'm a bit lightheaded atm!! Stim is in my brain....Had to do a lot of frogging this afternoon, damn it!! I was getting pain in the wires each time the stim turned on!! Hopefully being on all the time will fade it out, I can only hope, really don't need pain on both sides of my face.

Hope they can figure out what's up with your stimulator. I forget if I mentioned my mom's great aunt had TGN as well, but she had her facial nerves cut! This was many, many years ago naturally. Hope the frog stays away while you get sorted out!

Finished the stitching!! Now just the backstitch and beads to go! (I have a dragonfly still to do but I can't get there until the beading is done!)

Very pleased with her, I love how the robes flow. I've bought some really little beads in case I still can't get my head round the french knots on the dress.

Tiff - sorry to hear your great aunt had TN, its a b**** of a disease.

:applesauce: She is beautiful. Her gown does just seem to flow around her. It's hard to believe that backstitching and beading will make her even prettier. You did an amazing job.
Hope you are feeling better too.

All done!! Such fun to do, very much looking forward to doing the next two! Air next.

Here is a close up of her face:

I used tiny beads for the dragonflies on her skirt, as I still can't do french knots - but it looks great and I think better!

Am doing another project for a week before I start Air (make myself!!) doing another project, one that is a photo conversion, makes me realise how great these are to stitch - they flow. I'm enjoying doing the other, but its a different way of stitching and its an interesting contrast. (Its also on Aida whereas these are on evenweave).

Still no news on my neurophysiology appt :( I hope its soon as it is still tweaking my wires and its distracting!!

:applesauce: so pretty. and I admire your beading. It is the one thing I avoid. I will do french knots rather than bead!
I am looking forward to your next projects. Will you use the same fabric. It is a beautiful with this piece.
