I'm getting a little bit tired of Pinkie -- literally. I still love her but my hands, wrists, and even my left shoulder are sore and exhausted. This hasn't happened to me before with cross stitch, although it has with hand quilting, and all I can think of is this small thread count and fractionals are getting to me. So, I'm going to give Pinkie and myself a rest and work on one of my other ongoing projects for a while. I'm almost halfway through the chart and I hate to stop now, but I don't want to do any damage to my hands. I love the rotation idea I learned from y'all.

She is beautiful and I think you've earned a break from stitching all of the fractionals! Sometimes it really does help to work on rotation if just to give yourself a break from some of the tedious projects. I'm currently working on a kingfishers project during the week and on the weekend I'm working on Noel, a bell pull that's being worked on 16 count Navy blue aida--which is really hard on my eyes

:applesauce: for pinkie. Take a good rest and then you will be motivated as well as feeling good enough to do some more on her. I am rotating now too which I haven't done before but I am seeing the positive of it in that it keeps stitching fun.

These are going to be gorgeous in those frames. I'm looking forward to seeing them eventually.

Well, I was only going to take a little break from Pinkie and somehow I managed to get distracted by a myriad of gorgeous possibilities. I wonder how that happened? :thinks: @rotfl:

Now that I'm comfortable with my Chatelaine and before I start Tree of Stitches, I wanted to go back to my dear Pinkie because I missed her.

The colors are kind of off in this pic, per usual. They're softer in real life.

:applesauce: :applesauce: I'm so glad you returned to her. She is just lovely.

That's the problem with all the new things that come up. I am determined to make progress on some things before starting others because I'm afraid I won't go back to them. You give me encouragement by remembering and doing such a great job with pinkie!
