Fizzbw - I actually found the chart at Walmart about 5 yrs ago. It was in a small package (about 3" by 6") and only $1.50 so being the horse lover that I am, I just had to pick it up! I knew I'd find a great home for it eventually.

Like I mentioned before in an earlier post, the design is by Laurel Blake, charted by Janlynn but I haven't been able to find it on their website or by searching the designer's name on the internet.

Well, my friend LOVED the first horse and she's requested 2 more (the middle 2) but on separate pieces of aida. Tomorrow I'll play around with the measurements of the aida the first horse is on cus I originally cut it to fit the whole design but I'll see if I can fit the other 2 on it with enough space to cut the aida into 3 pieces afterwards & still have enough extra fabric to frame each one. If not, I'll have to go to the store for more aida!

I was sure she would love it, its beautiful. and I'm glad that she wanted more of them because I will enjoy watching your progress. Hope you can fit it on the fabric you have. At least one more should fit so you can get started even before you get more fabric. Great job.

That was a great idea to get your friend's input before progressing. That way you will give her exactly what she wants.

Here's my progress on the 2nd horse. There's a lot more white & cream stitches on this one - at least for the portion I've done already but the bottom of the neck & the nose will be darker.

Very nice start on the 2nd horse! The eye is so realistic looking and you've really managed to get a lot done on it already!! Very impressive!
