I'm a bit irritated with myself because I have apparently misplaced my the DMC-801 floss. Now I'm going to have to do a thorough search for it!
... But later, since I just need it for the westie's eyes.

good update. I hope you find your 801 so he can get his eyes. It is annoying when one color goes missing.

It's my first foray into stitching a pattern I made using PCStitch... I really hope it turns out okay! If it doesn't, uh... I'll finish Chickadees for my mom as a xmas gift instead.

Yep. It turns out I had used a used bobbin of it and tossed it back in the bag I originally got it from. I was rather

Update!
To be honest, I'm not certain how long I'm going to work on this... Call me impatient, but it drives me nuts with how long it'd take me before I see any real semblance to what it's supposed to be.
I'm sure it'd be worth it in the end but in this case, it's a matter of wanting instant gratification and not getting any!

How about having a few small projects on the go for instant gratification, and this one for long-haul-but-worth-it-so-let's-have-patience project?

I do have a ton of other projects on the side...
My main problem is that unless I get real into/fixate on one thing, I tend to be very... flitty? when it comes to working on things. @_@ Or hobbies in general, hence why at times I seem to disappear off the face of the interweb or XBL or whatever else.
Probably only thing I keep to for any amount of time is work, and that's because it pays for my current obsessions!
But yeah... I'm going to try to get a bit more done on the Mystery Project (MP), and then probably work on the puppies some more... so scold me if you see me starting anything new! I'm hoping to get at least one of them done before 2012 hits.

Good luck with the puppies! I hope you get that one completed before the bell tolls for 2012! I'll be interested to see your mystery project as well.

Maybe set a specific goal (not by time but by section of chart done?), small enough to stick to,on the project until you get to enough of the design that you are more motivated to keep going. That works for me on bigger projects sometimes. We'll scold you if you want, but it will be hard for me to do without being too much of a hypocrite, since I have more projects on the go now than I have ever had. and more in the wings waiting and crying to be heard.
looking forward to updates on the puppies and I'm curious about the mystery project also.
