it's looking good, I hate gloomy days for stitching, so went and bought a 'daylight' lamp, made all the difference to me, able to stitch all day every day now, no matter what the weather is like

As everyone else has said the colors just pop off of the fabric! Awesome work so far. And you still have 8 months until December A little a day and in no time you will have it done! But I completely understand about the gloomy light and needing adequate lighting for this type of project...summer will soon be here!

I've done a little more on this one, but I haven't been that interested in working on this one lately. Unfortunately the colors are completely washed out again. I'll try to take a better picture next time.

for the progress you have made. It's hard to work on a piece that isn't real interesting at the moment. After a while it will call out to you to be worked on again as it is a lovely design. I admire that you are doing such a good job on the black fabric. The colors really stand out. I will be looking forward to your next update, when you get a chance.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Have recently picked up cross stitch again after many years away from it, because of Magnificent Wizard. MW is number two on my to-do list. Have been following your progress and hope you continue as I'm enjoying watching it come together. But, I can certainly understand how frustrating all those tiny stitches can be sometimes, and a black background is a challenge.

One of my first 'craft' memories is walking into a craft store and seeing this one all stitched up. I remember thinking how amazing it would be to do something that big. Now I do work on projects that big now, but its still so cool to see other people stitching it.
