I too always have to do the face BS quite early on, gives me the willies seeing a blank space which is meant to be a face. Glad you have ed it, I had to peer at the pic to see the BS.

I think darker would work well for the backstitch. She is so lovely, but her face doesn't stand out as much as it should. Good luck with frogging, back stitch can be such a pain to frog. And another since I just read your other post.

Uk! Frogging - especially back stitch, cos you have to be SO careful not to snag the cross stitches!

But it's looking good, and the colours are great with the dark green.

It looks lovely on the dark green, and with the slightly darker backstitch she'll really come to life!

Here is the progress for this week. I am finding it a chore to finish this on. I really don't like how the green is changing the colors on this one. But it is so close I am going to get it done. Also does not help that my daylight bulb has burned out and I have to stitch with just a regular 60 watt.

That's so annoying about the bulb, but she looks fantastic!

Well my bulb is still not arrived. I check on the tracking and UPS says they delivered it to the wrong distribution center so hopefully it will get here tomorrow.

I did do a bit on this during the day yesterday. The angel is finished and I am working on the boarder.

A pretty angel and the border looks delicate and lacy.

That border is very very pretty and the angel is fantastic, so very very delicate looking!
