Nearly there I'm stitching the Mediterranean Mermaid at the moment and I'm struggling to keep the metallic's neat looking. Yours look perfect

When I stitch with the metallic threads I am constantly making sure they aren't twisting together and I keep my tension the same as I go..I also use long pieces (usually can guess how long to cut depending on the size of the area) I find that helps and it helps cut back on the bulk on the back and also less is used in the project....I find it is best to take your time with the specialty threads and keep letting your needle on the thread to hang in the air to unwind itself on its own. The sparkle threads are really worth it when it is all done though! I am so happy with how they have turned out. Do you have any photos of your mermaid?
