came in the mail today. Such pretty colors and they feel so soft. Now I have to figure out what I will use them for, though I think they might be good for the two designs that I got from Abi, the heart and the spring basket. The trick is making sure there is enough of whatever thread I choose. But it doesn't matter. They are just pretty to look at.

Those are gorgeous indeed, Carole!
I so want one of those but budget is so tight right now since hubby and I just got new phones and changed companies. We got the Iphone 4S (one for each) plus otterboxes for both so gotta hold off on those, plus it's hubby's bday in a couple weeks and gotta get him a present still.

LOL But it's such a good deal! And they are such lovely threads! It would be a shame for someone NOT to have some.

What a nice haul Carole! All kinds of lovely things you can use these for.
LadyS, I'm with you, I'd love to get a bag of these, but it's not the right time. At least they should still be available in a month or more.

I do like Jen's idea for your DH though.

I always get excited when I get post (the good kind of course!) - especially so when it come from the USA! Here are the contents of my two Oops bags from Jo, goes without saying that I am thrilled:

For UK ladies this little lot cost me £15 which included the postage. All the threads are silk except for the two next to the ribbon which are IMHO DD's equivalent to #12 silk perle (the bright pink) and #8 cotton perle. Lots of purple in there to keep me happy! Must stop stroking the threads and get back to beading CGM (three quarters of the way through)!

And

for already being 3/4 way through the beading on CGM. Can't wait to see the finished mandala

Gorgeous silks Amanda, now I'm so tempted, thought it would be more than just £15 for the two, that means it's under the horrid import tax threshold as well. Hmmm, must not spend more money!

I got my two oops bags today! I love them! I've never used silk threads before so I'm excited

they're so soft and pretty!
I got 35 different threads for like 23 dollars, which is suchhhhh a good deal! I showed them to my husband and he said "what are you going to use then on" lol silly man he thinks I have to use the recommended colors when starting a new chart lol
