Good idea, I have many bigger UFO's
I've got a small kit in the office for lunchtime and one in the car for picking up my mum at night as i often sit waiting for 40minutes!

These are looking really good Well worth the effort to keep going. Re rotation: I didn't realise what this meant either but now I know, I do the same when designing. I've got 3 designs on the go at the moment, I keep going from one to the other. I thought it was me being fickle but now I know I'm working in rotation, it sounds much better!

So after some good advice im trying to concentrate on say a leaf everynight. So for the next couple of night I hope to get the last rose and the buds on the right then move back to the leaves, the constant colour change is bringing out great detail! Theres backstitch to go also but i dont know if I want to do it all.

Its looking really beautiful Milly and although the colour changes are defining the petals well some backstitching does still make it more so.

I saw this one done some years ago by a friend and I think she did do the back stitching in the end and it certainly made the petals stand out more. I will check with her and see if she did do it.

Im sure I will do the backstitch, theres no point in not finishing! Just an excuse as there is 5/6 different colours of backstitch and that alone puts me off, one is enough for me!

It's gorgeous, and the colours used already make it fairly distinct. I'd maybe do backstitch on the leaves, or you could do it on the roses and not the leaves.. or do it all as you said.

That is beautiful. I never mind doing the backstitch if it really makes the design clearer. The roses are already beautiful, but I think the backstitch will probably really make them stand out. If you decide not to, though it is so detailed that it would still be lovely.

Quite liking this 10 hour rotation as I enjoyed getting this one out again after taking a break from it! Awel I'll see it again next week The finish line is close I think about 3 more turns, 2 for background as there is a LOT of it and one for the backstitch!

Looking more lovely every time I see it. Its awesome.
