I have to show this one to hubby as he loves things to do with the titanic. I'm sure he'll be very impressed with it. I certainly am, you are really doing well with this and the castle Daz. Do you keep one at home and one at work or just alternate which you take to work so you can keep having a change?
EDIT to add: Hubby is very impressed, he asked if it's a card or a picture and the size of it. He thinks it's a really nice design.

Great progress pics Daz.
Are you another stitcher who works on several projects at once?
I've got this pattern and your progress has inspired me to maybe put it up in my list of To Do's.
Looking forward to further shots as you are nearing the end and your progress sems quick - well i think so anyways...

This is really beautiful, Daz! You certainly put some of us, stitching ladies to shame, though
I wish I could stitch that fast!
Threadbear, do you think this project may be a good present for your husband's next birthday?

I think I can safely say it's developed quite a bit since the last update

If I hadn't been so bleary eyed and absent minded this morning, I could have posted the new pics by now

Re: Titanic SAL

14th April - Filled in a little more of the sky, started filling the sea area, and started some of the border...

16th April - Finally finished filling the sky area, completed 95% of the sea, and continued with the border embellishments.
Just for the record, the extent of the sky area almost had me binning this project, not because there was any difficulty, but because there was just so much of it... at some points 40-50 stitches wide, and up to 20 stitches deep, all in one colour... booooooring

17th April - Sky complete, sea complete, continue with border, and start the border backstitching

18th April - The most recent, current pic with more border and backstitching complete. Starting to work my way anticlockwise from the bottom of the design (I'm somehow finding it easier to follow the pattern in that direction, possibly because I'm right handed??)

Anyway, sorry to keep anyone in too much suspense, heehee... I'll try not to leave so much of a gap between updates in future

Thank you, Daz, it is really interesting to see step by step how it develops.
You have been doing an amazing job. And the border looks wonderful, too.
