I finished my Seussian tree bookmark tonight. I'm super happy with how this turned out - I was worried the colors of the tree were too bland, but the black backstitching helped a lot. DBF loves it.

Hi again - thank you all for the wonderful comments as always! Here's an update on what I've been working on recently.

A friend of mine had a birthday last night, and I thought it would be fun to make a pin for him to wear. Here it is:

I felt bad because I never gave anything to his wife (a very dear friend of mine) for her birthday a couple of months ago, so I made one for her too. She's very into fitness pole dancing.

I've also been working on Butterfly and Daisies quite a bit. Here's my progress on that so far. I started on the backstitching but that got old fast, so right now I'm alternating between backstitching and crossstitch/half crosses.
