Great start! I'm working on the same chart, its been slow going for me though. All that black and navy blue! I can't wait until it gets more exciting! (Although then I'll probably complain about confetti haha)

So page 2 is moving along nicely!!!
Everything other than the castle outline is just 939!!!! Question is do I push on with the 939 or alternate it so a thread of 939 then a thread of a castle colour!!!

Personally I would push on with the 939 - I know its boring but it makes good progress and you can see the castle outline

I could be biased here though as I pushed on and finished the sky and stuff before moving on to do the castle on my Kinkade piece.

Maybe switch it up and do 2 or 3 threads of 939 then one of castle colour? A mix of the two ways of doing it

I'd mix it up, so I could get a break from confetti doing blocks of color, and get a break from blocks of color to work on some confetti.

You have made great progress and I am so glad to see this one again. On my LOTR I stitch the black on a page first, usually. Of course there were some pages that were just about all black. Right now I'm working on it and am doing all the black that is on the left side of the page, then will work on the chain and them the rest of the black. Might actually work on the chain on page 3 depending on how much it is. I think that is probably how I would stitch yours also. Get the 939 on the left, work on the castle, then get back to the 939. I'd rather have it done and not have to look ahead to stitching it. If that makes sense.

Looking great! If I continued with 939 or alternated, it would largely depend on if I was in a "need something easy" (solid blocks) of "want to think a little bit" mood. I have days when I really want to do confetti, days when I want to do a little bit of thinking but not quite that much, and days where I just want to stitch and not think. Fortunately, these charts have a little bit of everything.

Finally finished all the 939 on page 2!!! Can't believe it's taken as long as it has but then I did throw in a cheeky New start while I was doing it!!!

Definitely looking forward to filling in the castle!!! Will be putting it away at the end of the month, I'm going to spend August stitching gifts as really need to get some done!!! If I make enough progress on them then I may treat myself and stitch this at weekends!!!!
