Congrads. A beautiful
First time parents are always confussed by their crying, but both of you will get the "parent" connection with his crying. Don't :hot: over it. Just enjoy every minute with your
Like the saying that my Mom gave me when we had our 1st, " Hold and rock them while they are small, cause time will pass by in a wink/blink of an eye. They are the "jewels" that HE gave us in our "eyes". :D

So it's been 2 months now, and I'm more in love with my Erik each day! Even being tired most of the time and not having time for myself anymore, any minute with him is amazing, and every time I leave him with hubby to go run errands I start missing him. The middle of the night crying when I am sleepy sucks but he makes up for it by each smile he gives me. :D

Anyway, wanted to stop by and let you all know we're doing really well, and today I picked up my needle again for the first time in about 3 months, to make a small, tiny start on yet another birth announcement, this time for my other brother who just got married Jan 11th and came back from his honeymoon already with the news, my sis-in-law is 2 months pregnant.

My mom asked for so long for a grand child and her 3 children all decided to give her one now, me and my older brother in September and November of 2013, and now, this September we'll have another family member. :o

Here's Erik on Christmas, when he was a month old.

Image

And a blurry one of him smiling for me the other night (too bad the ipad has no flash).

I need to upload more pictures of him, but of course, there aren't enough hours in the day these days. :thinks:

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Too too adorable! Great smile. I think he is going to wow the ladies for the rest of his life. It is so good to hear from you. I was just getting ready (really and truly) to send you a pm to see how y'all are doing. Stay in touch please. Even if - no especially if that means more adorable pics of that little boy!

Laura, it's so good to hear from you and see adorable Erik. What a sweet smile he has! Does he look like your or your husband or both? It's so hard to tell when they're little. I agree with Carole, he'll be wowing the ladies with that smile.

And yay for being able to get a little stitching in...even if it's for a few minutes, every stitch counts, and as he gets older and sleeps more, you'll also sleep more and feel more rested and able to stitch or do other things that you can't get to right now.

I'll be looking forward to more updates on how you are and more pictures of Erik.

He looks like a mini copy of my husband, lol. Except he's lighter in skin tone, he's right in between me and hubby on that end. But he's got hubby's nose, eyebrows, head shape, mouth, everything really, everyone keeps saying how each day he looks more and more like his daddy.

What a handsome little guy!

Congratulations on finding time for stitching. You're doing better than I did. After Big One was born I don't think I touched my stitching for over a year!
