It's going to be beaded which makes it really stands out and looks amazing. It's what attracted me to this project.

Didn't have as much time over the Christmas holiday to stitch with all the family and friends that visited. I did get some cool stitching presents. Here is the latest update of the emerald mermaid.
My husband is at home until this week, so I am hoping to get more stitching done.

Here is the latest update of the Emerald Mermaid.
All that's left is the bead work. I can't wait to finish and frame it!
Once it's done, I have to paint the guest loo. I was thinking a shade of yellow to make the colours really pop out of the mermaid. Then a few more touches and I have the perfect guest loo. Then I need to pick a new room to decorate, I'm thinking the guest room. One of the things that I love about moving to a new house I can take my time to decorate. I wonder if I will ever have the perfect house.

Gorgeous, and she'll be even more gorgeous with the beading on her!!
I think your idea of a shade of yellow is a good one.
What fun to be decorating a new home.
