Mabel - I actually found a message board centered around her designs and in the celtic ladies section, saw all kinds of conversions. Unfortunately, for many of them the preview picture is unavailable, but the floss changes are still listed.

Not sure what the rules are on posting links to other message boards here, but here it is:

There was one pic similar to the one you posted and it's down closer to the bottom of the list of Celtic Autumn conversions (it says it's Nathalie (ThalieFrance)'s conversion)

I saw some for summer, especially, that I really liked. But I'm torn cause I like the original color schemes too!

I have seen the changed colours for these projects, but decided I liked the orinigal ones best.

I'm doing a bit more on her today, and she is coming along, working on the hair now, having got the face and neck in the other day - don't know what I was doing with the neck, but had to rework it several times, got there in the end though.

Waiting to have photos taken, Steve was at an air show yesterday with both cameras. So hopefully photos soon, also ones of the Cat/Tiger picture that just came back from Chris our framer, as usual, he's made an excellent job of it.

Now, back tothe stitching :D

Just curious, I went over to visit the L&L forum (and boy, did I feel almost like I was being unfaithful  ) but I noticed on the topic of coversions and changes, they freely spoke of sharing charts and making copies. I'm sure they just meant the changes, but it seemed odd. Doesn't the copyright laws forbid even copying charts at all even if the colors have been changed?

I know that I have been told by many designer that even changing a color doesn't mean that you can copy a chart. They get very up-set about that kind of thing. They better be careful or they will get themselves in trouble along with the site administrator.

Oh wow, they did? I didn't even browse that far. I just assumed they were sharing the before and after floss colors and that was it!

Carolann - looking forward to seeing the updated bit! :D
