Ok here is my last progress update on both of these projects (cause hopefully the next post will have them finished! :applesauce:)

I now only have the backstitch and a few more french knots to go on my angel:

I have 22 x's and the backstitch left to go on bluey:

Why 22 stitches? When I started this project I decided I liked the coverage of 3 strands better than the 2 specified in the instructions (and usually I have a lot of excess thread leftover) so I went with 3. Well last night I did a really long stint on it cause it was sooooooo close to being done (900 stitches in 6hrs) and now I have some empty holes on my thread card where I used up the last of the colour doing the last stitches for that colour - all except for one colour which fell 22 stitches short. So I'm going to go to my local craft store this afternoon specially to pick up a skein of the colour and get this finished!
