I'm early today!

8 Stuttgart Germany

My uncle is a civilian contractor for the military so he has been living in Germany since.. 2003-ish he just came back states side though) so we always fly into Stuttgart and stay with them.

First up is a church:


And then a pretty view we only found becasue we were so tired and just trying to kill some time. It was less than a mile from my uncles apartment


And we went to a wine festival:


Where we saw some zombies:


We also visited the Mercedes Museum and and TV tower. It's a cute city.


28 Český Krumlov, Czech Republic


This was part of our 2011 vacation. and it's a place where the locals go to hang out, but still very touristy. Probably one of the tourists things we've ever done, but it was still really nice. We came so close to getting married in the castle there (I looked it up, only about 4k sounded like a sweet idea, but I really wanted the big local party).

I love all the local architecture. It stands as a reminder of just how new the US really is so pretty and ancient. Love it!

18 Washington DC, USA

It's a quick 5 hour drive to our nationals capital from where we live. We've only been twice though and I can't really say that we've done many touristy things either.

We rented an apartment through airbnb which was in one of these houses:


Visited this crazy bookstore:



Went to the botanic gardens (we go a lot, I like flowers!):




6 Boston, MA, USA

My mom is actually from Massachusetts so we go up fairly frequently. My husband's company is also based out of Boston.









Also, I'm going out of town tomorrow so no more pictures until Monday!

26 Fort Collins, CO, USA

I know Debby has this one! Both my husband and myself have friends who have recently moved to Denver, so we went to visit them over July 4th weekend. We wanted to explore so we headed up to Fort Collins because of the large number of breweries there (my husband is really into craft beer). While there we met Debby! (No pictures though, why didn't we take one, I didn't even think about it).

We did see some sights, first we went "hiking" at the Horsetooth Reservoir before it decided to rain.





Got some beer:



Then went hiking a bit outside of town, I think it was called the Devil's Backbone. It felt like 100 degrees... we didn't last long.





14 Chambersburg, PA, USA

Chambersburg is right beside Gettysburg so when we saw a Living Social Escape to spend 2 nights in a B&B we decided to make the 3 hour drive for the weekend. We mostly checked out Gettysburg:

30 Budapest, Hungary

This was part of our engagement trip. We had just gotten engaged and we headed to Budapest. I hated it. It reminded me wayyyy too much of home. We only stayed overnight, then headed out to Brno.









Had to get some goulash!



6 Bamberg, Germany

No beating around the bush, we went to Bamberg for the beer (it's a smoked beer, smells like bacon):



But had this amazing dinner too:

4 Paris, France

Wasn't a fan of Paris, they have lots of nice things, but we didn't ahve an amazing time, did take a lot of good pictures though:

12 Ludwigsburg, Germany

There were two large castles here. this is the more famous, also built by King Ludwig who built many other buildings and pretty much taxed his people to death.





And they had an Asian section:

13 Akureyri, Iceland

The town was celebrating something and they were showing off their Icelandic horses and sweaters:
