WOW!!!!

What a lovely and unusual design!

Just finished page 5 last night--yay!!! I'm hoping to have the next two pages done by the end of July. I was originally thinking mid-July, but a library book I put on hold just came in, so I'll be taking a reading break from my stitching, which I've been doing pretty much non-stop on my downtime from work since mid-February.

Here it is! (Excuse the wrinkles--I'm going to give it a bath at the end of the row to get rid of some sweat/dirt that accumulated before I got my Grime Guard.)

Wow! What an amazingly detailed piece. My parents had a picture very similar to this hanging in our family room, so this piece has a very nostalgic feel to me. Thank you for posting your progress pictures. I look forward to watching this picture emerge.

More detail emerging!

Last night, I finished off page 7 and I'm at the end of Row 1--yippee!!! So, I am 25% of the way through this, and in just over 4 1/2 months. Whew!

(Edited to add: This is exactly 28 inches across, btw.)

I might take a small break, but since I've got the holiday weekend and only a few things to do, I might just spend it watching the Tour de France and stitching when not oohing over the Holland scenery!
