Those are some nice updates. What a cute way to put together a little piece for Olive.
I really can't wait to watch that storykeep come alive. You've chosen some great projects.
Thank you for sharing your pictures.

Thanks for all the kind words, they are very encouraging.
Here's my progress on Antique Animal Sampler. Fortunately this one stitches up quickly, because even if I only work on it for three or four days, I still manage to get a lot done.
My HAEDs are calling again, so I'm going to put the sampler away and switch to Funky Fish Carnival next.
Thanks for looking!

This sampler is beautiful - I hope it doesn't get put away for too long as I want to see more. You're doing a beautiful job on it.

Here's an update on what I've been working on the last few weeks.
I finished the last bit on the 4th column of pages for my Funky Fish Carnival HAED. I reached my yearly goal for this one, so probably won't pick it up again any time soon. This was my first HAED and I started out with waaaaay too much tension plus I'm tent stitching, so the left side is a bit warped. I'm hoping it won't be a big deal once I finally finish this and get it framed.
I also started and completed a couple of small stitches. First up is a stitch of my 9 year old son's name with characters from his favorite video game (Destiny). I'm thinking I will hoop frame this one.
I also stitched up a red fox on a onesie for my baby who is due in January (it's a boy!) This was my first time stitching on a tshirt and it came out a bit crooked and slanted but I still think it's super cute. I'm not sure whether or not to iron anything on the back to prevent the stitches from pulling out in the future when it gets washed - any advice? Also it is generally ok to throw cross stitched clothing in the washing machine and drier, or should I plan to hand wash it?
Next up will probably be my Od Magic HAED, I still have a little shy of one page to finish by the end of this year to meet my goal on that one.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family in January. I loved all of the updates, but that onesie is absolutely adorable. It's been years since I stitched on anything other than aida, but I do remember I've never had a problem with washing and drying stitched-on clothing in the past.

Thanks for the input. I did make sure to secure each thread end under 4 or more stitches so hopefully it holds up. And I meant to say it's a red PANDA, not fox. That's what I get for posting right before bed! Red pandas are my DH's favorite animal and I think they are pretty awesome too. We recently bought a stuffed red panda and a stuffed sloth for our new DS, so I'm planning a sloth onesie at some point too

Here's an update on the Animal Sampler. I'm always blown away by how fast this one goes (especially compared to my HAEDs). I bet I can finish this in just a couple more weeks of stitching. For now I'm going to switch back to my HAEDs, since I have three more yearly goals to finish on those. I did also make some progress on Od Magic in the last couple of weeks but I will wait until I have a page finish to post that.
