7 nights work on this again. More green to be done on flower jug but decided to stitch some other colour after finishing the greenery on the trellis.
The green stones on the wall, right hand side, are half cross stitch & are bottom right to top left as told to do it on chart. Looked on main picture & it is correct, slabs under the table & chairs will be like that too. On Overlook Café half crosses were stitched bottom left to top right as depicted on their chart & how I have always done them.

I agree. They almost give a 3D perspective. I have seen the directions going either way for half stitches. I would guess it depends mostly on the designer's preference.

The half stitches certainly give depth to this gorgeous design. A lovely update and it is growing beautifully well

I still love this design, Riolis does make some beautiful patterns with the different stitches they use.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. This is not as complicated or detailed as many projects on here but it is very tranquil to stitch. And lovely soft Aida fabric, the nicest I have worked with.

Another weeks work. Am doing white tablecloth now but it doesn't show up. It will next week when I have done the shadows
