I have finally finished! This took me longer to do than it should have but I got there in the end. This is the biggest project I have done so far. I had a bit of a panic this morning when I washed it as it looked like the dark colours had bled into the few lighter colours but I checked it once it had dried a bit and thankfully it looks fine. Now just have to get it framed.

Have to confess I'd have done it on black fabric & cut out 60% of the work, but I'm lazy and don't stitch very fast.

I've been stitching for maybe 40 years and I *still* get a little tense when I wash a piece. The amount of tension is directly proportional to the amount of time it took me to finish it, so yeah, I get it.
