Lyudmilla that is truly amazing and such vibrant colours. I am so pleased that you have located the right shop to get that last colour you need.
Well Done on a beautiful project.

Beautiful work, and I love the towel! I'm not very good at cursive script, but does it say "Christ is risen, He is risen indeed"?

Yes, Mabel, you are absolutely right. I know that Britain (like most of other Western European countries) is not very religious nowadays, churches being used more like community life centres, so I have a question: do people in the West still greet each other on Ester and a few weeks after it with those phrases? In Western Ukraine they do, even those who do not go to church at all.

It is certainly still done in some churches - I'm fairly certain the Church of England uses it as the traditional greeting-and-reply on Easter morning, and we do in our baptist church too. But outside church you won't hear it much, and even in church it will usually only be used at the Easter services.

I'm just doing a little catching up. Your projects are all so lovely. Your stitching is very beautiful. I enjoy all of your projects, but for some reason your little card looked very delightful and happy to me today. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

Thank you all for your kind words. I do value the comments of stitchers. And that bear is really a wonderful guy-he makes you smile while stitching.

My Spas Rushnyk is now finished, washed, ironed and ready to go to my friend tomorrow.
In reality it is not so crooked as it looks in the photo. The fabric is Zweigart, so it does not "pull".

Someone here asked me about my next project. I have dug out my old good UFO- John Clayton's "Canal Reflections". As I spent a week on Worcestershire-Staffordshire canal and enjoyed the experience to bits(doing locks in the rain included), to me this design is more than just a picture. The reason for it becoming a UFO was all those 2 stitches in one square- horizontally and vertically, and lots of fractions. But now I am determined to complete it and even have a nail in the wall for the purpose.

I bet your friend will love your gift of that beautiful stitching Lyudmilla.
Your UFO is beautiful and is going to look so good on your wall when it is finished. Good luck with all the half stitches - they are a pain but worth it in the end.

Due to the problems with PB, I apologize for the black squares you now see in this thread instead of my WIPs and finishes, and from now on all my works can be seen in the gallery. I will try to give links to it, but it may take time till I learn how to do it.

First of all, I am grateful to Richard for his instructions on posting photos from the gallery. You should understand that I am that old dog who has difficulties with learning new technologies. But Richard's explanation was so short, clear and simple, that even I managed to attach the picture here from the first attempt. Thank you very much, Richard!
The WIP has an interesting story. It is a design by a Ukrainian designer from the Ukrainian firm "Merejka" which moved to Poland and is working in the UK too. SO, the kit was bought in England and sent to me as my early Christmas present by my English friend, now I am stitching it and it will go as her Christmas present back to the UK (I will stitch another picture for myself).
I am stitching it on 14 count Aida, in 3 strands, - no problem as the threads in the kit are DMC ones, so I just add from my stores when I need more of the threads. That rare case when the design turns out much better on the fabric than any picture can show. I am enjoying every stitch on it.
