Dr. Freud is smiling in his grave. Such mistakes are known as Freudian slips and mistakes. :D

Seriously speaking, it has to do with printing matters. Personally I, with my eyesight, always have to make sure whether it is nr or m, and the longer the word, the harder the job for my eyes.
