Um. Cindy - my name isn't Martin, not even in real life!

I wondered if you meant me or someone else, when I noticed the name in your last post, but now I am sure you mean me! It's easy to make mistakes when you are on so much pain relief, love

so don't worry about it! If you would like my real name, it's Teresa.
But I don't like my name, so I actually prefer to be called Fljots!
And thank you for your kind comments on my stitching!

Managed to do a bit more after my grandson had gone to bed - mostly fiddly bits of quarter sts around dragon mouth and confetti sts, but also a nice bit of smooth dragon jawline and an eye!
When I've completed this page, I think I'm going to backstitch it before moving on to the next page. Maybe even before I finish the page.

I love the emerald/turquoise colours of the dragon!

It's always fun isn't it once you reach a really interesting part of the design rather than just background/sky etc.

Well, I have now finished the Grecian Urn (christmas pressie), and almost finished a cardigan I am knitting, so should be able to get back to this after the funeral (Monday 17th Nov). And I can hardly bring myself to wait! I love this design!
Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone!
And Cindy - don't worry about getting the name wrong!
And everyone - forget my given name! - I'm Fljotsdale - Fljots for short. I've been using the name ever since I went onto the net, years and years ago, and I would answer to it in real life, too! Probaly more readily, in fact, because it's not a name you would hear commonly.

Very well, Fljots it is then. It sounds rather Scandinavian to me, but that may just be because it reminds me of fjords

. Does it have a significance or did you just like the sound?
And I know what you mean about answering to it in real life -- I'm getting worryingly used to being Mabel!

But that's because you ARE Mabel.
I really don't understand how anyone can even think to call you anything else!
