Lovely swirls -- but what a lot of patience they must need to stitch with all those colour changes

!

you're right Mabel, lots of patience, and good lighting. This material's best worked in daylight i've found, which we haven't got up here in the frozen north today. I don't know why, maybe its the sparkly bits, but in artificial light you get 'whiteout', like the flash of the cam has done to the close-up piccy down there..

I need whip-cracking folks! mental block has hit with this one. I've got all the bits 'n' bobs for summer but i'm trying to resist the urge to rig that one up and start it, and bottle out of this madam. I spent more time yesterday frogging than stitching,

Go on, start summer....you know you want to, hehe. Maybe she'll be a bit more cheery and inspire you to crack on with it! Or maybe I should just come over to 'Ull with me riding crop and threaten you to get it done

Stephany, you have to finish this one. She is so beautiful. I know it is so disappointing when you have to frog. But she really is worth it in the end. Just look at how much you have done. I would be sad eyes if you did not press on so I could see her setting next to the wonderful Fall.

Can you see my sad puppy dog eyes blinking at you.

Yes i see your puppy dog eyes Rose, hehe. I've set to today and brought it together, a bit anyways; i was all over the place with it, doing a bit here, a bit there... And, honestly what am i like, the very first 4 stitches i did, at the dead centre? i did them the wrong colour (i think i did a pic of that bit at the start of this thread). That's the only frog i've had to tackle today.

We've had blazing sunshine today, good working light (my house is north facing, so made the most of it), hailstones a couple of times, and rain, lordy has it rained, and rainbows!
We did our trick or treating at the supermarket this morning, got 2 bats and a black cat, LOL, oh and some food
We love Halloween in our house.

Glad to hear you managed to keep Mr

at bay most of the time -- lovely to see the progress! (and I'm in love with that fabric...)

Mabel, did you notice at Wimblebees the opalescent Brittney is on sale, and it looks as if a big piece is the same price as a fat quarter... can this be??

*cries out to Serinde* Found the half-price sale, but no opalescent Brittney, only at the ordinary price. Do you have a link perhaps? please? pretty please?

You have to scroll down past all the navy 28ct, but it's there! Half a metre for £15.86!
