I can't believe you've finished the first page in 4 days - that is absolutely magnificent (can't think of a bigger word here or I would use that!!!). I'm working with the same fabric, using the same stitches as you and it took me four months to finish my first page

I know what it's like to work on a large project and get stuck in one or two colors all the same. It will be nice to see other colors come together. Great progress!

Wow that is a lot of stitches done. What percent of the overall pattern is that??? 5% or more??? You have such a great way of stitching, you complete so much in such a quick amount of time.

Really glad that you'll be doing added colors now....I admire your patience with the loads of blue shades...It would have drove me nuts if I were you... Great work on that! Looking forward for more!

That first page was only about 2%, Rose Loooong way to go yet!
I managed to get quite a bit done on Page 2 now though and you can actually see a little bit of the telescope coming into view - YAY! The rest of the page is all blue again but I thought I would do the exciting bit first.

Hey 2% on a HAED is magnificent progress! It's looking great! Still in awe of how fast you are getting along with this! Of course it helps when you are really into the project and can't wait to stitch more. Keep it up!

Based on my experience with the Balloons I'd say those were 10x10 grid lines somehow showing through by the order of how the thing is stitch. I'm pretty sure it will blend together much better when done and washed. But maybe I'm wrong.

I'm stitching in blocks of 10 deep across each page and the lines show up between them - don't know why, but other than the predator (which is mostly black and you can't see) I've never stitched in blocks before. I read somewhere on the forum a while back that somebody had said the same thing - that you can see an indentation/line of some type when you stitch in blocks. I'm assuming it will vanish when I wash, press and stretch it at the end.
