socialsue, that is a beautiful latch hook project. Is it an American Indian design? I used to do a lot of latch hook rugs many years ago. I don't still have them tho. My first one was of pink cabbage roses on a beige background with blue ribbons around it. I gave it to an aunt and uncle. On a visit to them many years later, I saw it in their house, and I was so touched that they still displayed it.

I never thought of converting cross stitch charts into latch hooks.. What a great idea! I used to love doing latch hook when I was younger...

Hi I do latch hook it is really simple and my first project I took on an intermediate level rug and it was simple so you should have no trouble. The only advise I can give you is to work the rug from left to right and start at the bottom and work your way up the rug.Good luck with it :D :king:

It's easy peasy and it grows rapidly compared to cross stitch. But it does cause a whole new bunch of sore fingerness lol.

I love doing one every now and then for a change.

This is on my list of things to try at some point. I was even looking at some kits today, till I told myself sternly that I have 3 BAP cross stitches that I really have to get finished first. I do love the Anchor turkish carpet designs though
