socialsue, that is a beautiful latch hook project. Is it an American Indian design? I used to do a lot of latch hook rugs many years ago. I don't still have them tho. My first one was of pink cabbage roses on a beige background with blue ribbons around it. I gave it to an aunt and uncle. On a visit to them many years later, I saw it in their house, and I was so touched that they still displayed it.

I never thought of converting cross stitch charts into latch hooks.. What a great idea! I used to love doing latch hook when I was younger...

Hi I do latch hook it is really simple and my first project I took on an intermediate level rug and it was simple so you should have no trouble. The only advise I can give you is to work the rug from left to right and start at the bottom and work your way up the rug.Good luck with it

It's easy peasy and it grows rapidly compared to cross stitch. But it does cause a whole new bunch of sore fingerness lol.

I love doing one every now and then for a change.

This is on my list of things to try at some point. I was even looking at some kits today, till I told myself sternly that I have 3 BAP cross stitches that I really have to get finished first. I do love the Anchor turkish carpet designs though
