:applesauce: to everyone so far! i can't post photos cause of my broken pc..lol. I started where Jenny did..

the top left block is done, the top middle is done and I added beads. I started the sewing box under that in the middle..and almost done w/ that.

I do the border stitches first then stitch what's inside the box..if that makes sense..lol
this is a lovely fast stitch! tomorrow though, I work on my dragon :-)

Great starts, everyone! I'll post pics of mine a little later today. I didn't get that much done yesterday. I got sidetracked by some patterns online and printing stuff off.

As everyone has already said this is a quick stitch. I really like the way it is coming together. It was hard to stop and go to bed but since I still have to work I had to.

Here is my up-date for last night. Will post again next week.

Rose, I love the colors you've chosen!

Here's my first pic. Like I said earlier, I didn't get very far with it. I hope to get more done today.

I started with top left corner, but could only do about half of the block, the X-s, and fell asleep. :( I was too tired. But tonight, I will finish that first block, at least that's the plan, and then post a picture.

Thank you for your concern, Mabel. I have to get up early, and find it difficult to go to bed in time in the evenings, because that's my stitching and reading time. But usually I am OK with this. :)

Well I have some bad news. My boyfriends jeep broke down again and we had to spend a ton of money to get it fixed and so unfortunately I am not going to be able to buy any supplies for awhile. :( So I am going to have to hold off on doing this piece. But I will enjoy watching all of you stitch this piece! (Thanks again dawn for the magazine..I feel really bad now since I won't be able to stitch this just yet!)

 I can sympathize. We had to spend a little over $250 over the weekend on DH's truck.
