Yes, I agree, TB, I want it as neat as possible on the back and it would be awful if any of the threads got pulled out.

I'm working on it again today - next creature is a little blue bird.

Here's another one done. It's great that these are so quick to stitch. 5 of the 14 animals done already and I'm intending to get one more done today as well - at least most of it, I think I might be missing one of the colours, but I have similar shades so I might be able to improvise.

And one more. Thought I would spend most of the weekend on this as I was getting behind with my schedule for it. I'll do some more next weekend, probably. I've done 7 out of the 14 animals now though!

Danielle, the animals were free downloads from a forum called EMS. A while back I had been considering an afghan and trying to decide what to put on it and someone told me about the forum. You have to register as a member and then you can download their charts for free. There was a set of farm animals and also some zoo animals which were very cute.
