I am so upset, I started the backstitching of the piano last night and realized that the whole bottom area (the blue ball of yarn, red book, etc) is one stitch off. I just spent the last 3 hours frogging.....

I know, I am so mad at myself!!!!

If it was only one stitch, perhaps you can make the piano one stitch less tall? I'm sure it wouldn't show in the completed work!

Mabel, it was off one stitch horizontally not vertically. I was trying to figure out a way to adjust the pattern but couldn't figure it out since the piano legs and bench are supposed to fit into the blank spots. . Luckily I did have a lot of time to work on it yesterday though, my brother & I were driving home from visiting my mom in South Carolina so he drove and I stitched! I will post a pic later today, I pulled out the bad stitches and added in a lot of the backstitching.

Shame about the unpicking, but good progress even so, and the backstitch really adds definition to the picture!
