It's a Flakey Friends kit from Stoney Creek - my Aunt found it at a garage sale, and gave it to me saying that it reminded her of my mother.

I'm not sure if you could still find the kit or not. This one is for a family friend, and I do need to do a second one for mom. Once I've done that, I would be happy to loan you the pattern for a bit if you'd like.

I finally finished the center ring of the table cloth...which means my hopes of getting this done in time for Christmas are...well...not good, but not completely dead! I also have two of the larger corner designs done, so that means two large corner designs, and 8 smaller edge designs to go. Hmmm...wonder what I'm doing tomorrow...

Well done on your progress for the tablecloth, it's looking great!
And the snowman is lovely, how did you do the little tassels on his scarf??

The tassels are something called Turkey stitch...you stitch one loop with extra thread which you later cut to make the tassel, and a second stitch over it to hold the loop in place. It was rather challenging on aida cloth - I think it would be better on linen or evenweave.
I did manage to finish the table cloth...at 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Mom and Dad went out to do some errands in the morning, and my cousin kept watch out the window for me while I stitched away. Unfortunately they returned when I had 10 minutes of stitching left.

I managed to finish it that evening while mom was in the shower after our hike. I folded it up and put it into it's box just as she was walking down the stairs, then ran up and wrapped it. Didn't have time to take a photo, or even spread it out to see what the whole thing looked like completed. Mom was thrilled, and I'm so glad that it's done and out of my stash!
I didn't have much stitching time over the holidays. I brought along Fall Lake, but never had a big enough block of stitching time to really get into it, and it's too complicated to do in half hour segments. I ended up working on my airplane project instead (Dimensions Gold Hidden Spirits); picture below. I finished the rocks near the fire, and started on the cougar. Now that I'm back home I have started Silent Crackling by Mystic Stitch. I plan to do it in a rotation with Fall Lake, and I'll post a pic once I've completed the first page.
