I really like the shades in this, and it must be a great encouragement to have some more colours come into it now!

The shades of colours are looking lovely. I've been tempted by this HAED too and it's great to see someone doing it.

This week's progress!!

Image

I don't know whether you can see that on the top of one of the circley bits it almost looks like there are a couple of stitches missing as the dark green edging just stops. Does anyone think this is a mistake on the pattern or do you think it is meant to be like that. It seems to jump out at me every time I look at it.

Great progress! :applesauce:

If I where you, I would look at the pattern. There are similar bits, on the right and at the bottom. Do they have the "missing" stitches or not?
And you could always put them in anyways, if you like it better with those stitches

Beautiful!!!!

I agree it could be part of the patterns design but it you want you can add the stitches and make it uniquely yours!!!!

I really like this design. I haven't stitched any HAEDs but I might give them a go in the new year.

Looking lovely :applesauce:
I have just looked at the enlarged picture on the website and there doesn't seem to be a gap so I would guess it is an error in the pattern.

This is beautiful, I love the colours in it.

On the pattern, I'd do as others have said, check against the pictures on the website/front cover and check the other bits of the border to see whether it's part of the pattern or a mistake. And you can always make adjustments even if it is part of the pattern.

At least that one's quite easy to tell. I've just found that on my 12 days, the colour chart has two floss numbers without symbols! Just found one of the symbols on my 2nd day and trying to work out which colour it should be. Problem is they're both quite pale ones too, one sort of fleshy and one grey and knowing TW's predilection for shading, this could be interesting!

Lovely progress. But that gap would bug me as well - I would certainly fill those stitches in. Also on other parts, it looks like the lighter green (is it a green?) of the 'main' part actually comes outside that darker border, but not in that bit with the gap... so it might well be an error in the pattern... :thinks:

It may be an error in the chart, or it may be an intended irregularity in the design that the chart is based on -- whichever way, if you don't like it, fix it! I sympathise, it would forever be bugging me and I'd just have to do something about it :-)

(just remembered, Slinky was it you who made your cupcakes all symmetrical even though the chart said they shouldn't be :-)? And much better they looked too after your ministrations!)
