Woo, I got 500 stitches done yesterday! Finally, a background section with no confetti.

Today we're back to confetti. ;)

That's a wonderful job! I don't know, if I had to do mine, I would start from stitching ME, LOL

Coming on nicely! I also have to alternate between confetti and not-confetti!

Thanks guys! I didn't do any stitching yesterday  but I squeezed out another 200 stitches today.

Back to non-confetti background stuff tomorrow!

Slinky: I am enjoying it, yeah. It's fun to work on it and then literally take a step back (like, halfway across the room) to see the faces...when I'm working on it, I'm too close and it's all just little dots of color. ;)

Like this:

The only annoying thing is that a cat decided to barf on a corner of the pattern! :x I got it wiped off but there's still a yuck smudge and I have to look at it for 27 more little grids before I'm done with the page. Hubby says at least the darn cat didn't barf on the cross-stitch!

Looks great!!!! I know what you mean about when you are stitching close up you can't tell what it is you are stitching but then you hold away from you and it suddenly comes to life! :applesauce: :applesauce:

As for the kitty...how come they never throw up on the tile where it is easy to clean up! Yesterday mine decided the mat in front of the door was a good place..nothing like coming home to that welcome mat! Of course, I would probably have a heart attack if they did it on my cross stitch!

Yup! I TOTALLY get what you mean when you say you cant see the picture til you bugger off across the room... All i'm seeing is blue... blue blue and a lil bit of purple! :) but i squint and i can make the picture out... i'd stitch squinting but it hurts my head!

But it looks FANTASTIC! you're whizzing through it! :)
