my engagement ring  i tried my wedding ring on next to it and it looked horrible all dull and dirty, and all the shops in town said it would take 3 weeks  and i found a shop in Kent that would do it in time, i sent it thursday and recieved it back today!!! thats what i call service

I also got the final confirmation for our lil break in Isle of Wight in May, and Maggie had an appointment through for her next jab, pre-school booster on the 11th march

Finally got my 4 patterns from Mystic stitch. Yeah .... had a quick peek - but putting them away until I am in the non-stitchy mode. Perfect time to read the charts.....and plan for fabby and floss. Will edit and post pics later today.

I just checked and I got the same error message..hmm.. It was working last Thursday when I admittedly bought one (or two  ) more grab bags. My mom told me to order $50 worth of something and I could resist! lol

I got my package of 4 fabrics from silkweavers. I had a piece of Oceantide and Castle View and two solo pieces. Very nice (although one of the solo pieces was 32ct and I love the color but I'm not sure I'll be able to see the holes). There is one problem though. I had very specific patterns in mind when I bought these pieces but now I can't remember which pattern I bought Castle View for. Hmmmm.... :thinks:

Really excited about my post today - it's my next project when I finish Roses Runner. I love the designs from Judy Dixon, but have always thought them way beyond me. But I found an online class from Classic Stitches and it's one of her designs    I downloaded it (not really a class, more lots of very detailed instructions) and today the postie brought me the fabric and threads:

I'm really looking forward to starting a SAL for this one :D :D :D

That's a beautiful collection of materials, Susan, the threads are lovely (Gloriana is beautiful to work with and so is Silk Mori) and the beads tone in beautifully!

My tanto arrived :) and a washable marker from sew and so, I'm going to try gridding the height chart. Now all I need to do is order the fabric for the height chart (and get the right amount this time!) and try not to forget anything else I need...
