Thanks for explaining. That makes a lot of sense. You can stick with the diet knowing you can still have small portions of what you really crave, and not have to give them up entirely.

I was really pleased with myself today for passing my second assessment of eight for my coding qualification. I got 96%. The bad news is I treated myself to a cake to celebrate and now I am cross with myself!!
Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

Well done, Kazzi, that's brilliant news!
Liz, I do exactly the same - treat myself to naughty food if I've got good news. We should try and tell ourselves to get a stash treat instead!

I went and got weighed and I've lost a lb

would have been more if it had not been for me falling into the pringles and chocolate boxes
I've been thinking and I've decided to start a money box and put one pond in for every lb I loose

Should have a nice little haul by the time I'm finished.

As long as we can all throw our frogs in your ponds!
No, that's a great idea. It's good to have the motivation of a treat.
I'm saving £2 (well, hubby is

) for every week I lose. That way I hope to have a nice little amount if I'm successful and lose 2 stone at the end of it.

I have a moneybox too, it's one of those camper van ones with a surf board on the roof!
Another thing I find which often helps me is that if I'm tempted to go to the shop and buy something naughty to eat, I think, well a bag of crisps would cost me 50p or an Iceland pizza would be £1 or whatever, so I put that amount in the moneybox instead and promise myself stash or a new top or a DVD or something like that when I have saved enough.

Oh I can't see the pictures. It says they've been removed.
I weighed myself this morning and I lost!
Not alot, but at this time of the month I usually gain, so a loss is a loss and I'm happy.

Half a pound.
One and a quarter pounds in total after 2 weeks doesn't sound great I know, but at least it's going in the right direction!

Last time I weighed myself, which was before Christmas, I was around 18 stone.
Today, I weighed myself at a friend's house and I'm only just over 17

I have had two takeaways this week so imagine what I could do if I really put my mind to it!

Nice work TB! 1/2 a week is 26lbs a year - almost 2 stone.
Don't lose heart, as Tesco say "Every little helps!"

What a unique dress - I noticed the splash of red in the top band - but to see the back - wow. Love it!
