Thank you
This morning I have been watching our Late Queen's funeral service and the parades allowing me to get to the end of Happiness:
Now I can return to completing the cross stitching on the dragon

I'm watching it too with my parents and nephew. History in the making indeed...

My friend who I am doing the Motorbike came round and saw it today:
It never ceases to amaze me how little enthusiasm men can have for our stitching... I got a "it looks like a motorcycle"
On my Dragon I am now infilling the few remaining stitches that have not yet been done.
Once that is done, or possibly before, I need to do the backstitching for its outline. Which will leave me with the gridding, couching and finally the bead work. Nearly there, the end is in sight

I can't wait to see the finished product. This is going to be a real masterpiece when you finish. And the best good luck dragon ever!!

The weather has changed so I have not felt encouraged to do any stitching in my conservatory. So I have just moved my motorcycle into the main house
In the meantime I have been working on my Dragon:
You will notice that I have started doing the backstitch on the dragon. This is proving to be a good way to find all those odd stitches and quarter stitches that still need to be added. Of course most of these have metallic threads in them

I do so love that dragon! The backstitch is very subtle but it does make therything just pop and sharpen. Can't wait to see it in all it's glory!
