Thanks for the heads up about the site. Have been looking for some camel charts to stitch for a friend who took us to the camel markets and this one is perfect. Will definitely have a browse

I found another lovely chart on that blog, a funny monochrome sheep which I knew would be perfect for DH's niece Isobel, especially in wooly white on a lovely bit of hand-dyed pale mauve fabric I have as she loves lilacs and purples. I made a few changes to it and added a caption (complete with terrible puns, which she also loves :-)), so now I'm ready for her birthday, even though that's not for a few months!

I'm thinking of several variations on this chart, I may do one in dark grey on a piece of multi-coloured pastel splotchy hand-dyed, stitch the body solidly (without the "void" flowers) and then decorate it with flower sequins or buttons :thinks: :thinks:
