thank you all so much, you give me the encouragement to carry on when I get frustrated, but at the moment really enjoying it, as it's cone Alice, every time I do a bit Henry "let me see, wow" it's great, really gives me a buzz

Gorgeous and almost done! I just watched the movie Memoirs of a Geisha again a few days ago and the beautiful colors in the film reminded me of this piece.

I love this design, nearly bought instead of George and the Dragon (also Maia), but my eldest daughter is Japan mad and threatened to take it from me if I bought it (after I finished it of course, she'd let me do the hard work :thinks: ).
