I think the designer will be ok with our changes and will appreciate that we liked her pattern so much that we stitched it and as she should understand that as stitchers we have different personalities so different likes and dis-likes.

I have finished
It's washed and is drying now. As soon as I can iron it, I will sew on the few beads I planned, and then you will get a picture, promise :D

Lisa, this is so beautiful!

Well, I am done. Here are first the three elements that were missing. I left out the thimble and the sewing machine since I don't use them, and also left out the little bird and added two things that are very important for my stitching:

The first:

Image

Jilly, do you recognise it? It is a bit loopsided, because the photo I used to create the pattern wasn't straight, and I decided to leave it like that. You know, as the medieval scribes made a deliberate mistake in their copying works - they didn't want to make something perfect

And in the bottom, this is what I came up with. ROSE!!!! I hope I am not violating any copyright rules here - it is not exact copying, I just wanted to create a recognisable likeness. It only occured to me after I had stitched it. Let me know if there is a problem, or if I should ask permission of anyone - and please, delete my post if you feel so. Anyway, I do hope you like it :)

And finally, here is the finished piece, with some beads in place, too (in the quilt and for the pins' heads):

It was such fun to stitch this all together! Thank you for this great experience. :grouphug:

Lisa you are doing a great job. I love the colors that you are using the varigated seems to become more and more bold with all other boxes being filled in.

Agi that is excellant the pendant looks great and I don't see any problem with the forum being added into you stitching. Wonderful idea. :applesauce:

Thank you, Rose, I was really looking forward to your answer on this. :)
Isn't the forum one of the most important part of our stitching life?
