Sorry to bring up a sad question, but whatever happened to Mr. Tiger?
He is truly beautiful. Did the colors that ran come out okay or were you able to adjust the mat to fit; and did it cover the stains?

I have so enjoyed watching the progress on each of these projects! The princess alphabet is very cute; could you tell me where you got them? I have several princesses that would love receiving a small pillow or framed name letter.

Thanks for taking on this competition, it is giving us so much pleasure.

Love the thread choice for your smyrna stitch! Look forward to seeing what other threads you choose!

So far I was able to cover everything with a mat, and I think I"ll leave it rather than try and wash out the stains. I'll post a pic when I can. :)

It's a kit from Dimensions I purchased at a big box store. The chart for all 26 letters is in each kit.

I'm going to be using 3 different colours and vary things a bit. I finished the French knots and eyelets and I'm starting on rice stitch, so I'll post a pic and you can see what I mean. (that will either be soon, or later tonight depending on how quickly I can get ready for work).

You're doing great :)

I'll try to ask my question again, maybe it drowned in all the others writing:

I'm so sorry I missed your question! They're Q-snaps. I _love_them. Less marks on the fabric like hoops tend to leave.

There was a recent thread about this, here's the link

Basically there's a frame and you lay your fabric on the frame, then snap the white pieces around the frame. They come in all different sizes. I hope that helps!

I have just read this thread all the way through as I had missed it. You have done some fantastic work this year. But I love the tiger best of all. Keep it up.

And Angelic Melody is calling rather strongly, so I'm going to get back to work on that for a while.
