Worked on my birth announcement this week and I'm basically half way done now. I think it looks adorable, but am half regretting using the Aida that came with the kit, 'cus it's so stiff it's slowing my work a little.

It's coming along so nicely and looks absolutely cute as can be!!

Finished Lifestyles today, complete with charms, just need to get it framed now.
For the little hanging threads I picked colors from leftover threads from kits I've done before.

I'm supposed to work on the birth announcement again this week, but to even finish this today was a chore, as my back has given up on me. I dunno if it's postural or if I pulled something but I can barely move today, it's midback by my shoulder blade.

Tylenol and icing is all I can do for now, although I ordered a postural brace to see if I see some improvement (since my belly started growing I don't stitch on the floor with my back against the sofa anymore, I stitch sitting on the sofa, but it's too deep for me to keep my back rested so I end up being too hunched, so I fear that's what's happening).

Fabulous finish Laura and I love the threads you have added at the bottom. A great idea.

Sorry about your back and my guess would be posture as mine gets painful in the same area after I have been bent over my stitching for a few hours. I will be interested to know how the brace works should you decide to go ahead with that idea.

It's from a 1995 Cross Country Stitching Magazine. It's called Lifestyles - Stitcher.

Oh this is such an adorable project! Congrats on finishing it and with a sore back even. I sure hope you get some relief soon. I'm no stranger to back pain and when it decides to spasm, it's no fun
