Well tonight I was determined I was not going to bed until I finished my DMC mini kit 'by the sea'. I must admit the finished piece is beautiful.
This morning I received another package through the post containing 3 pooh kits. I didn't really need to buy them (my stash of kits is multiplying by the second), but I couldn't resist (again).
Tomorrow I will dig deep to choose my next project, turning some plain fabric into a work of art

.
What do you all do with your finished pieces? I've displayed a few and given some away but the majority of mine are keep in a portfolio which I do like to bring out and look through from time to time.

Crickey!

These are impressive! Did you do them in halves and stitch together or wholes a la Mary Corbet? In either case, Wow!

Here's the stitching for a wedding card. The bride is Norwegian and the groom Danish, so really it's the height of cheekiness.

I put a bit of blue material behind it so that the beads showed up. A first for me: never put beads into filling stitches before -- quite simple. Also stitched in hand, which I never do. Worked well...
Unfortunately, my card supplier has rather let me down -- no card stock has arrived, so this will have to be posted instead of delivered by hand (pals are going to the wedding, lucky souls). Hey, ho.
