I love it!! That could be my great nephew. There is nothing more fun that watching 3-5 yo children playing sports. My nephew will be 3 next month and is so full of energy. He is in a "soccer" team and started t-ball (baseball) Got excited with his first hit. Ran to 1st base. Then ran back to his parents and was done for the day, pleases as punch with himself.

Not sure why I ended up reraising last years thread.

When my son was in the first level of 5 pitch, there was a kid on the other team who had not once made it on to a base. It was one of the last few games of the season, and he finally hit the ball and made it all the way to third, safe. Parents from both teams gave him a standing ovation. He looked up and smiled at his mom….and the umpire called him out for “looking the wrong way”. We all argued with her. The ball was not in play, and it was his first hit. Way to kill a kids spirit.

How do,you look the wrong way? Baseball players look wherever they want to. That is one of the oddest and meanest things I have ever heard

In little league they have to be looking at ump, or infield to prevent injury. But these were little kids who spend most of the game picking daisies in the outfield. She didn’t give him time to celebrate.
