That's really hard because even with charity donations, since I always gift aid, they can't be anonymous either. If it's just where the person in question didn't know me at all though they could see me then it was probably a carol service before christmas when I lent my pen to the family sitting next to me so that they could gift aid their donations to the charity that the collection was for that day.
Out of all the housework you have to do, what's your favourite chore/gives you the most satisfaction?

I actually really enjoy vacuuming! It's relatively easy compared to other housework and really effective - makes a room feel really clean!
What's your LEAST favourite housework job? Mine is ironing, and I avoid it as much as possible!

Hoovering because it gives me a terrible back ache, but fortunately that's done for me

. Of the chores I do myself, ironing, again mostly because of the back

right now i would have to say that it is my framed marriage license....course i am just a newlywed.
normally, i would say that it is a little matte porcelain snowflake ornament that i keep hung on the wall. i think it is a waterford. can't remember.
what is your favorite vase flower to receive?

My favorite are purple and yellow tulips. They are just happy flowers to me. And since they are a spring flower, they brighten my house.. that I am tired of looking at from being inside all winter.
Money is no object... Where is your fantasy vacation? I would like to take a month long Mediterranean cruise.

I would take a month in Australia and really see all of the country that I could fit in to that time.
What weather do you like the best? I like a good breeze with whispy clouds and partial sun. So you can go for a brisk walk and you cheeks get rosy. It just seems like it is trying to blow in a new clean day.

I like a gentle breeze and plenty of sunshine, but not too hot - ideal motorbiking weather!

I would tell them to keep doing what they're doing, the Obama's always look pretty classy & well-dressed to me!

Pay all my bills, buy each of the kids a house of there own, and start my own craft store. I am assuming that I will win a couple million.
If you had a chance to live anywhere in the world where would it be??? I would live in the foothills someplace in Colorado.

back to the tablecloth question first: people only spill things on a clean cloth because what kind of hostess would put out a dirty cloth??
i am craving more of the chicken i cooked for dinner tonight. dusted with garlic salt and pepper, seared in a cast iron pan and then finished off in the oven. i only made one breast for each of us and now i'm starving.

It's Friday.. what are you plans for this weekend? We are supposed to be getting a storm tonight and I just checked out a bunch of movies from the library. On Sunday, I will be watching the Vikings beat the Saints on their way to the Super Bowl.. come on Purple! I may go out to a pond hockey tournament and watch my friends kids play.. it all depends on if we get a ton of snow tonight.

We'll have a Burns supper tomorrow night, and on Sunday a Church lunch (where everyone brings something to eat and we all share a meal) followed by a promise auction for a young member who will be going to Africa for six months to work with AIDS orphans -- DH has promised a ride in the old Austin with a visit to the Coventry motor museum (should appeal to the gentlemen

) and I've promised calligraphy lessons.
