Easter is my favorite - not as much pressure as Christmas and not as much traveling!! Also every year I make up little Easter baskets filled with candy and goodies to hand out to my family, and I have so much fun doing it! Also I love chocolate
Are you a morning person or a night person?
I am definitely a night owl & hate getting up in the morning!

I'm a morning person. I do my best work in the morning and really don't mind too much early rising (i'm up at 5:15am for work in the week

). I get really sleepy in the evening though and really don't do working late if at all possible.
What are you having for supper this evening?
We have a local restaurant which does a fish and chip supper on fridays so will be going there to try it out

I just ate a creme egg, does that count as a supper?
I need to lose some weight.
What's the best tip you can give me so I can still eat chocolate and lose the weight?

When I lost my weight, Threadbear, first I wanted to give up chocolate (all sweets - I like vanilla cream cakes even better

), but realised I couldn't. So I went for smaller portions. I started to buy only one very small piece of chocolate for myself (hubby was a different matter). Interestingly, most of the time it was enough. Then I tried not to eat chocolate every other day. By summer I almost didn't eat any, but if I felt like I had to, I did - without guilt.
Of course, as I went to England and Scotland, I had to give it all up - so many interesting new cakes to try... *sighs* - now I am back to eating a lot of chocolate, have to cut down on it again.

I don't know if this helps you... it still means less chocolate. Why don't you try eating less but better ones?

The real luxury ones?
Do you like scent in your house? At the moment I am putting scented candles and pot poury all over the place - I enjoy it a lot. My favourite is lavender with vanilla.

my poor dog was ill and is too big now to fit through the doggie door (he is about 200lbs) and he left 4 piles that my poor husband came home to!

I've been told we were due for more snow yesterday but it just rained all day! I hoping for no more snow as it makes pushing the pushchair very hard work when I do the school runs!! I'm considering buying the kids a plastic sledge because if I do that its almost guaranteed that no more snow will come for a while!!
Do you listen to the radio?? if so what station?? I'm listening to Kerrang (mostly rock music) I'm supposed to be cleaning my upstairs but I've been distracted by new mini laptop?!

I mainly listen to a country station (one in the van and one on the satellite through TV at home).
Before I ask my question, I just had to comment about the housework questions. DD got a real lightweight vacuum from the in-laws for Christmas. She's only 4, but she wanted a vacuum cleaner. It was only a couple dollars more for a real one than a play one. Well, the day after she got it, we were at a family party. I told her she needed to pick up the food that she dropped on the floor. Her response was "This would be so much easier if I had my vacuum!"
What is your favorite thing to wear when you are just staying around the house and don't have to go out or have company over?

My Jarmies.

So cosy and comfy.
What's the last thing you ate?

Plain dry biscuits

. They help against the acid. But only as long as I keep eating them. Two minutes later it's as bad as it was... I tell myself I should stop eating them, they will just make me fat again and don't help at all but sometimes I just can't stand this burning in my throat any longer...
What is the last cultural event you went to?

Not sure it was particularly cultural, but I think the Burns Night Supper we went to last Saturday would probably count -- haggis and Scottish dancing and all!
If you could step on to the dance floor and be proficient at any dance style you liked, what would you be dancing?

Jitterbug.....used to do alot of this when I was younger but have not danced in years. Hubby won't unless you get him very drunk and that doesn't happen very much.
Do you eat a proper breakfast or just a quick on the go?

I actually only eat breakfast very rarely, and when I do it's cereal.
What are you listening to right now?

before that I was dancing around the kitchen to Jimmy Eat World...... I like listening to music while cleaning it makes it much more bearable!!

Two beautiful sampler books off eBay.
If you could help stock a LNS just round the corner from your house, and were allowed to choose three items that they would stock especially for you, what would they be?

I only have one request.. that you be employed there Mabel so I could ask questions or learn a new technique whenever needed.
What is your favorite item to snack on? When stitching, I try not to snack on anything.. or I am always running to wash my hands. When I do stitch and snack it is things like hard candy or grapes.. occasionally pretzals or tortilla chips.
If I am not stitching.. baked cheetos.

I would be a domestic cat - I'd have a lovely warm home and food with lots of love as well from owners but I'd still be quite independent and adventurous.
If you could be proficient and compete at any winter olympics discipline, what would it be? (mine has to be a toss up between figure skating and skeleton bob (!), though I have no skills at either)

Speedskating, our national sport! *waves Dutch flag patriotically*
Although I must admit figureskating is a lot more elegant
Winter or Summer Olympics, or neither?
