Just looked them up, and the Cifonda threads seem to be silk/rayon mix, is that right? They compared it to Rajmahal art silk, which I haven't used, but I would have thought it's rather like the Oasis silk/rayons, which are lovely and shiny and a bit springy
The Gumnut silks that I bought were Stars. They are lovely and soft and very easy to use. Yes the Cifonda is a silk/rayon mix, very shiny and springy. I have to use rather short lengths (and still am often rethreading the needle) and be careful to make sure both strands are fully pulled through.

Love all your projects Kimkat, am especially looking forward to seeing the wildflowers progress, but you've done some lovely little ones as well.

After a distaster with trying to finish my mitten for the mitten swap I decided to leave it for a couple of days and got another 2 letters stitched on my Margaret Sherry Alphabet - D and E.

And overall:

Looking at it now that I have a few more letters done, I think that I will have to make some changes to C as it looks solid compared to the other letters.

Aren't they gorgeous  !

I can see what you mean about the C -- any ideas yet as to what you might change about it?
