I'm so excited for you! I know when I finish off a big project I have an almost obssesive need to get it done, so I get way more hours done per day than usual, I once even developed a callus on my index finger from threading the needle
Hope you don't get too sleep deprived and enjoy the last little bit of Queenie.

Thanks all!
Well Queenie is a year old today! Still a few thousand black stitches to do... I'll certainly finish over the weekend - it's exciting to think that at work on Monday I'll be working on a new project!!! -- just not sure if I'll finish it tonight....
It is very exciting! - you know like on your birthday, or Christmas, or looking forward to a holiday or something, you're going about your normal business but in the back of your mind keep remembering there's something special going on
I have 5 photos left in my camera which will be for the HAED reward pictures (photo of the back, photo with signature on a piece of paper next to it etc... I want to make sure they believe it's real!!) then will get them developed as soon as I can after that. Hopefully expect photos next week!

Wow, only 1000 stitches left, so close now! I can't wait for the last picture.
I was also wondering what you plan to stitch next.

I know, I've been a bit secretive with what I'll be working on next..... I'm going to set up a rotation of HAEDs, the two I've made little starts on (in April) are:
Moon Tide, by Rachel Anderson again
Once Was Innocent (Selina Fenech)
And kitted up and the one I'll probably start with is
Summoning Old Friends (Carrie Hawks).
I think it'll work out as quite a nice mixture of different colour schemes to work with, after all the red

Planning to do a page on each one and then rotate. The question is, do I set up SAL threads for each one, or use the same thread?

Wow, Queenie is sensational! I'll be cheering you on to the finishing line also. I bet it is so exciting to have nearly finished her - come on those 7000 black stitches

Quite a selection, that should keep you interested! I'd probably set up a separate thread for each of them, it might get confusing otherwise and it is such fun to see a project develop!

Lovely charts Louise

Start a sal for each one I think as its easier to keep up with the progress and seems to give us more to looky at
