Saw this today and it made me think of Lexi. Hope she is better and doesn't need her donut any more.

That is so sweet! Lexi is still donutted, I'm afraid - her tummy wound is nice and dry but there are still scabs and if she starts licking them she might open them up again, so we're playingit safe. She's getting a bit fed up and tries to sneak out, but she is comfortable with it and will sit on our lap and pur, and sleep, and eat, without too much inconvenience.

From a Vet office that changes their sign daily. I saw a list of 75 and copied a few that I especially liked. (Not all, but most have to do with felines.) This is one of them.

Serinde's Stash & Grab mention of minestrone reminded me of the Dutch friend who is coming to visit me for a few days next week (oh joy, but you wouldn't believe the reams of paperwork she's had to go through [including an non-abduction declaration because she is bringing their 16-year-old son while her ex-husband is still in the Netherlands...] and the trouble we had getting the right Covid tests booked because the Dutch government doesn't accept self-asministered tests).

She is practically vegetarian, drinks oat milk and is very hot on organic food, and so I thought it was funny that as I was planning meals, this picture came up in my desktop-rotating-picture thing :-)

  Fancy seeing that in London!
We have a few Greys around us here. I know that they're not as 'popular' as the Red squirrels but they do have a certain appeal :D

London is a lot greener than some people give it credit for. The only real crowd I found myself in this time (and even that was less dense than usual) was the very short section of Oxford Street I had to navigate. Otherwise I mostly walked in parks, cemeteries (very restful) and the tiny green spaces that are dotted all around the capital, and quiet back streets.
I saw herons, cormorants, and even (very briefly) a vole.

Not when they steal off the bird table or cause damage :tantrum: Then they deserve their other name "tree rats"

:D :D :D What I can't believe is that I actually watched the whole thing (a little bit of fast forwarding during the bath itself) but the beginning of this video is so precious.

The 'Very Demotivational' site is part of the ICanHasChesburger group. If you go here: https://icanhas.cheezburger.com/ then hover over the 'Memebase' menu option, you'll see it near the bottom. I also often visit 'There, I Fixed It' (FAILBlog menu item), where duct tape appears to be a required part of every car repair, or the odd bit of stitching for bumper (fender) repairs. There are the odd NSFW type images at both those sites, but generally they're OK.

One of the best and funniest of the videos that has been posted. I've gone back to it a few times. Just looking at that dog in the beginning, knowing what will come, makes me laugh. Smart of you to post this again.
