Don't worry Brandi, I guessed what the tramp stamp was (great term ) but it reminded me of tramp steamer, and although I know the term I didn't actually know what it was (except that it was some sort of boat). Don't we learn a lot here !

Oh I know tramp stamp I was confused about the steamer reply and the link was an explaination for the steamer question that I had. My daughter has a tramp stamp so I am well aware of the term....

Oh, dear, I probably added to the confusion by not clearly saying I was talking about the Tramp Steamers. Sorry about that, Brandi and Rose.
Also, I'm probably showing my Naiveté by admitting I didn't know what a "Tramp Stamp" was either! (I know now!)

(I almost got a tramp stamp, I wanted a tattoo in that area since I was 11 before the phrase was coined, luckily someone informed me of it before I got it done Now I'm waiting until I can think of a better place )

(this is a new term I created Sunday when we went to see a movie & I **was** going to buy a snack...until I saw that 2 16 oz sodas & a medium size bag of popcorn came to $22.00 {and that was a "vulue pack"}!!)

Outrageous (I bring candy with for my son and me when we go to the movies so only get a small drink. That is ridiculous. More than the tickets if you go to a matinee)

ed. to add: we also get our candy from the Dollar Store (& the kids and DH also got bottles of soda this time) we went with a friend & he offered to "buy if you fly" so I went to get him a diet soda & was going to get me a soda & the popcorn....but the $22 gave me a coronary so I didn't. I still spent OVER $5 [of his money] for his (16 oz) diet Coke.

The local theater does not allow outside drinks and food into the movies. I refuse to buy thier product so I usually don't have to worry about a bathroom break in the middle of a movie....... oh the days when they used to have an intermission in the middle of the film so they could change the reels.......
