Very pretty. I have ordered some cards that I can now make with some of the smaller hardanger designs as well as some of the smaller projects I would like to do. In the past, I could do these on my afghans depending on the themes. Now its more difficult, but I think instead of "singing" cards, stitched ones may be what my family starts to see.

I finished this cutie up Sunday---the beading was something else, but I love the end result--the belt buckle looks like it's got some lavender beads in it but it's just the light reflecting off of the other beads
working on the paper is definitely not my favorite thing to do---and trying to cut the backing for it was an experience. it's backed with felt that has it's own adhesive---not fun at all cutting that sticky stuff lol

Thankyou,
I changed the colour of the hat, it was pink, !!!!! What Santa wears pink Hat And the button was a stitched heart. For some reason I don't like hearts/\
Lovely ornament Linda, one that will be treasured for years I'm sure
Quite right to change the hat colour and a star next to Santa moon is much better.
Did you make the cord and tassel ? If so what's the secret my cords always seem to work loose.

I buy my cord and tassel at the dollar store. They are cutrain tie backs, One long cord with a tassel at each end, sometimes I use the whole thing others (like for this little one) I cut it in half and tape the ends, that way it does me for two ormies.
Startee this yesterday and finished last nite (although staying up till 4am helped ) Too bad you can't see the sparkly fabric, it's very pretty, same with the Santa moon ornie too.
I posted this in the Halloween SAL but thought I'd post it here, too. This is a Mill Hill beaded kit called Midnight Farm. It is stitched on perforated paper and has some glow-in-dark thread that you can see in the second picture!
